This gentle giant has great complexity with tones of pepper and spices and rich ripe fruit. Aged in small barrels for 18 to 24 months it will mature gracefully over many years and become deep and complex.

Vinification
From 20 year old vines, the wine is kept in small barrels for 18-24 months, producing the most full-flavoured of Vicchiomaggio's wines.

Tasting Notes
Deep red colour, clean fruit bouquet, still slightly closed. Full flavoured and vigorous, it still needs time, and will reward cellaring with great intensity and complex flavours.
