The big events at Grand Mayne each year are the vintage celebration weekends, and they're a firm favourite with WineSharers. Throughout the weekend there are various activities and entertainment, and you can join in some or all of them as you wish.

On Friday you can try your hand at picking the grapes (with a little tuition), watch the fruit of your labour begin it's journey to bottle, and are rewarded with a three-course lunch and plenty of wine. Now you've really sampled vineyard life!

Saturday is much less work, and offers a tour of the vineyard and winery, learning about the winemaking process and life on the vineyard, and is followed, naturally, by a good lunch.

In the evening, relax and enjoy the ambience of the vineyard at night, with food, wine and live music. Starting with an apéritif in the barrel cellar, we make our way to a fine four-course dinner with a selection of the vineyard's wines, and those who wish to have plenty of time to dance to the live music.

On Sunday we visit a local prune producer, a speciality of the area, and then return to the vineyard for a long Sunday lunch in the true French style. The food is magnificent, as is the wine, and you won't get away until late in the afternoon!

The vintage weekends are a fantastic way to enjoy the vineyard and meet other members, and you know you're going to enjoy excellent wine throughout.
