...whilst writing I would also like to say how my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Mayne grape picking weekend. The damp conditions on Friday morning didn't dampen our enthusiasm, and things just got better and better as the w/e progressed. The only thing I can say is we will be going back again!!

I am a member with a row of vines at Domaine du Grand Mayne.
I attended the grape picking event at Chateau de Pizay last weekend and had a wonderful time - could not do otherwise when you have beautiful weather, great countryside, a wonderful chateau, excellent food and of course not forgetting the wine!!!.

Just a line to let you know that last month we visited Chateau Constantin-Chevalier in the Luberon. We were pleased to meet with Marie-Laure and Allen Chevalier who gave us a lovely guided tour of the chateau and vine yard, even though they were very busy bottling at the time.
They are very charming people. Whilst there we both sampled and bought some of their lovely wines. The area they live in is particularly beautiful especially the village of Lourmarin and very typical of Provence.

Thank you so much and I was only concerned that I had not given you enough time to get this dispatched. I have been busy and was away over the weekend and so just caught up with the fact that it was Tuesday!

Just thought you might like some feedback about a recent visit to Grand Mayne.
Our son (Ian)is a new member and has not had the opportunity to visit Grand Mayne to see his vines. Whilst he and our grandson were on holiday with us we rang and asked if we could visit. We were greeted by a young man named Pierre who couldn't have been more helpful. He showed us round and explained the various procedures the grapes go through to become wine.

Our grandson was amazed at the size of the vats and of the amount of wine in each of them. He can't wait to become a member in his own right in a few years time, (he's only twelve at the moment!). May we thank both Andrew and yourself and all the Wineshare team for another excellent week-end at Grand Mayne. It was our third consecutive year and every one seems better than the last, and this despite the fact that I was ill on the Friday. May I also add an extra thank you for your kindness on the Friday – I am sure it helped to speed up my recovery and enabled me to fully participate in the remainder of the events.
I hope that the second weekend has gone just as well for you. We look forward to our next Wineshare event.
