Vinification
From 20 year old vines, kept in small barrels for 6 months, then transferred to large barrels and kept for 9 more months.
Grapes
Sangiovese 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon and Canaiolo.
Tasting Notes
Spicy, complex fruit bouquet. A rich, weighty red with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla. Very distinguished, and will continue to improve.
