Winemaker
Sophie Chevalier

Allen Chevalier was one of the most charming Frenchmen known to wine drinkers. His career as a top advertising executive obviously gave him a taste for good wine  but until he bought Chateau Constantin-Chevalier in 1990, he knew nothing about winemaking.

Sadly, Allen died in 2011 but the family have continued to produce wine in the same specialised manner that has placed Constantin Chevalier at the top of the Provincial producers. From the begining of the Chevaliers entry into french wine making, they have always been assisted by Daniel Peraldi, the Oenologist and Alain Louis who remain as the backbone of the production process.
Constantine Chevalier wines regularly win awards, and have received high ratings from Robert Parker and the important French Guide Hachette.
