A very belated but sincere thank you for all the work you put in before and during the Grand Mayne weekend. It meant that we all had a fab time. I admit I was apprehensive going back but you made it different and special.

Andrew and I have just returned from Castello Vicchiomaggio. The Castello and location were truely stunning and the food and wines were superb.

 

However it was John Matta's knowledge and genuine passion for the vines, grapes and wine that made this holiday such a special memory. Wonderful!

 Hi,
I am a member with a row of vines at Domaine du Grand Mayne.
I attended the grape picking event at Chateau de Pizay last weekend and had a wonderful time - could not do otherwise when you have beautiful weather, great countryside, a wonderful chateau, excellent food and of course not forgetting the wine!!!

Just thought you might like some feedback about a recent visit to Grand Mayne.
Our son (Ian)is a new member and has not had the opportunity to visit Grand Mayne to see his vines. Whilst he and our grandson were on holiday with us we rang and asked if we could visit.  We were greeted by a young man named Pierre who couldn't have been more helpful. He showed us round and explained the various procedures the grapes go through to become wine.

 

Our grandson was amazed at the size of the vats and of the amount of wine in each of them. He can't wait to become a member in his own right in a few years time, (he's only twelve at the moment!).  Pierre showed all the consideration that we have become accustomed to over the years.  Please pass on our thanks.  Regards, Tony and Barbara W
